Better Late than Never

I know this is WAYYY overdue, but honestly, I just don't want to spend my free-time, since there's not much of it, blogging. I guess I don't enjoy it the way others do. Most of the people that read this know what's all going on in our crazy lives anyway, so I don't really see the point in doing it. Know what I mean?
For what it's worth though, I'll post big updates and things that I think are noteworthy, but I'm not going to be blogging big ol long posts like I used to. For me, it's like a chore. I'm not one of those who can sit down and just jot down a few witty things. I am the type that sits down and takes 2 hours to chronologically type out every little detail that has happened since I last blogged, which would be 4 months ago! ha! I know I don't have to do that, but it's just the way my mind works.

My Brother and his baby girl Kylee and his niece Kayden (loves his girls)
ANYWAY......major things.....
1. We sold our house! yay!

2. We close on our new house 2 weeks from today! yay yay!

3. We bought Kayden's new "big girl" furniture from Rooms to go Kids last weekend, which will be delivered the week we move into our new house. Exciting!

4. I am 15 weeks pregnant today and feel the baby moving around all the time now. It's very reassuring since I'm such a worrier! :)

5. Kayden is talking in complete sentences all the time now. I have really been working with her to express what she needs and wants (and DOES NOT want) using her words, instead of screaming and throwing fits. She is getting MUCH better! She just gets so frustrated when she is trying to communicate something that she cannot say or that I don't understand.

6. Kayden is permanently down to one nap a day, which although I preferred 2, is much better for her in the long run. She goes to sleep earlier at night and isn't as fussy as she was with 2 naps. Plus, she sleeps a good 10-11 hours straight at night and anywhere from 1 1/2 hours - 3 hours during the day. Which means I usually get a good nap during the day too! :)

7. We have been spending a lot of time packing, but also spend quite a bit of time swimming, going to the park, McDonald's, playing outside and in the sprinkler and spending time with family.
After Church 5/30/10 (My brother, his wife and their kids, my mom and sister us and Nana)

I guess that's about it for today. I'm sure my next post will be in a few weeks once we get moved into the new house. We're super excited for all the extra room we're going to have and the much nicer, quieter neighborhood. I'll post pictures of the house once we get moved in and settled a bit.

We should find out the sex of the baby around the middle of July, so be looking for that post!

Ready for church 6/5/10
Until then, have a great week!
